ELIZABETH LANDSVERK MD

Dr Liz is a seasoned geriatrician and an expert in dementia. Through her house-call practice, she developed techniques to address the challenging medical and behavioral issues often faced by older patients and their families. She has written Living in the Moment: Overcoming Challenges and Finding Moments of Joy in Alzheimer’s and Other Dementias to distill the critical issues faced by elders with dementia.

She has been board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Palliative Care Medicine. Dr Liz was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of California, San Francisco, as well as consultant to the San Francisco Elder Abuse Forensics Center. She graduated from Stanford University, and trained at Cambridge Hospital, Harvard University and Mt. Sinai Medical School. She is currently medical director at Silverado Dementia Community.

As a geriatrician, Dr Liz collaborates with local physicians to address the complicated needs of vulnerable elders to alleviate pain, agitation and discomfort through use of the latest geriatric and palliative care techniques.

Dr Liz works with a vetted team of experts to provide top-notch care. Together, they have decades of experience and deep knowledge of eldercare.
