What We Do

The DLG vision is to keep elders and people with dementia strong, healthy, independent and connected with their communities.  This includes maintaining the mind-and-body wellbeing of their caregivers.

The DLG mission is to provide training, education and support to the families and professionals caring for elders, particularly with the added challenges of dementia. This includes educating those over 50 about the pressing issues of late middle age and how to care for themselves as they care for others.

With a deep understanding of the broad spectrum of caregivers (from family members to healthcare professionals), Dr Liz and her team can help you navigate the challenges of caring for an elder.  Our overarching goal is to provide services that benefit both the caregiver and the care receiver.

DLG provides the education and support to help you manage the day-to-day, as well as help you prepare for what may lay ahead.

For many, one of the biggest challenges in caregiving is knowing where to begin. If you’ve just started caring for an elder or are dealing with a loved one’s recent dementia diagnosis, feel free to reach out to our team.
